2010 World Cup Qualifying Fixtures - September 2008

The first round of qualification for 2010 World Cup in South Africa kicks off on Saturday the 6th of September.

England first game is away to Andorra, Scotland is away to Macedonia, Northern Ireland are away to Slovakia, Republic of Ireland are away to Georgia and Wales are home to Azerbaijan.

All the home nations are facing tough tests in the opening games with all except Wales opening away from home and in countries that are notoriously hard to get points in.
