January 31, 2009
On February 11th, the Croatia national team will travel to Bucharest for a friendly with Romania. Coach Slaven Bilic announced on Wednesday, January 28th, the lineup. Missing from the list is Niko Kovac, due to his decision to retire, and some of the usual faces, Vedran Runje, Jerko Leko, Dario Knezevic, and Ivan Klasnic are also missing from the lineup. However, Bilic has named some new players in their places and the return of Eduardo da Silva is expected.
