England friendlies announced

England have announced the next round of friendlies to be played at Wembley in 2009. England will play Slovakia on the 28th of March just before the World Cup qualifier against Ukraine then they will play Slovenia on the 5th of September again just before their match with Croatia.

“It’s very important to play similar style opposition as practice for the competitive matches,”

“The Slovakia and Slovenia games will be very good preparation for the vital World Cup qualifiers against Ukraine and Croatia,”

Slovakia and Slovenia will prove tough opponents as they will want to prepare well for their games in the qualification as they have a fantastic chance of reaching the finals.
