England ticket prices slashed
January 8, 2009
The English FA have decided to cut ticket priced for England’s home games by up to 25% to try and boost attendances. The last match at Wembley was watched by just under 70,000 but Capello has been critical of the lack of atmosphere at England games.
“We want to make watching the national team as affordable as possible during this difficult period,” FA chief operating officer Alex Horne said.
The price reductions will apply to England’s home matches, with World Cup qualifiers against Ukraine and Andorra and a friendly with Slovakia at Wembley.
