English FA appoint 2018 bid members

The FA have appointed 3 new members to the team that is bidding for the 2018 World Cup. Former marketing director of London’s successful bid for the 2012 Olympics, David Magliano, has been named commercial and marketing director.

The chief operating officer of the bid company will be the FA’s director of corporate affairs Simon Johnson.

And the FA’s head of international relations Jane Bateman becomes the 2018 bid’s director of campaign operations.

This is just the latest 3 appointments that the FA have made with Andy Anson formerly the head of men’s professional tennis in Europe, being brought in in November.
