Fernando Torres is back. Back with a bang! The Spanish striker, who scored the winning goal for spain at the EURO 2008 Championships, missed half the season out with a hamstring injury, which he picked up on International duty. He is an asset to Liverpool’s title hopes this season. The Spanish striker left Athletico Madrid last summer for a record of 27 million euros. With 24 league goals last season, registered him as the best ever tally for a foreinger on his debut season. With Chelsea and Manchester United firmly breathing down Liverpool’s neck, Torres will be a vital part in ensuring that the tital finally comes to Anfield.
