Green Point Stadium

Green Point Stadium is a football ground located in Cape Town and is one of ten stadiums hosting matches at the 2010 FIFA World Cup finals. It is often referred to as the African Renaissance Stadium.
Green Point Stadium has a capacity of 68,000. It is situated close to Cape Town city centre. During the 2010 World Cup finals, it will host five first round matches, one second round, one quarter-final and one semi-final.
After the World Cup finals, the stadium will be used to host both football and rugby matches. Premier League side Ajax Cape Town have been rumoured as possible tenants of the ground.
