Newcastle’s Martins gets Nigeria Call

Obefami Martins has been names in the 22 man squad for Nigerias World Cup Qualifier against Mozambique on the 28th of March.

Martins has yet to feature under new coach Shauibu Amodu with his last appearance being in lat years African Nations Cup in Ghana.

Nigeria have also selected six players from the country’s team that played in the final of the football event at last year’s Beijing Olympics.

They are Hoffenheim forward Chinedu Obasi, Onyekachi Apam, Dele Adeleye, Sani Kaita, Oluwafemi Ajilore, Victor Nsofor and Osaze Odemwingie.
