Nigeria still want Cole

Nigeria have still included West Ham’s Carlton Cole in the Nigeria squad even though he is ineligible to play.
Cole player for England at under-21 level and now being 24 is too old to change his nationality but the Nigerians have refused to give up yet.
“We have not completely ruled out Carlton Cole.
“His agents and the English FA are trying to help him secure a special Fifa clearance.”
“So we can only wait to see what happens but it’s no longer in our hands.”
