South Africa should be more enthusiastic
September 18, 2008
Sepp Blatter doesn’t feel South Africa are being as enthusiastic as they should be considering they are hosts to next years Confederations cup and the World Cup in 2010.
“What I’m missing a little bit here is the identification that next year is already the Confederations Cup,” said the head of world football’s governing body.
“I’m missing the feeling of the World Cup. There needs to be more marketing of the event.
“Africa needs to tell the world it’s ready to host the event.”
Blatter doesn’t feel the tournaments have been marketed very well.
“Believe in it, make banners and not only in South Africa but everywhere in the world,”
