England comfortably qualified for the 2010 World Cup top of their group winning 9 out of the 10 qualifying matches. England are currently being led by Fabio Capello who has turned around England’s international fortunes since he took charge with England previously missing out on qualification for Euro 2008. Capello has installed a new professional atmosphere in the England camp and the stricter regime seems to be working for the players. Unlike most of the other teams that have qualified for the World Cup, England released their new home shirt during the qualification campaign and this will be the shirt they pull on in South Africa next year.
